Yujiro looking proud of after that one exchange was a callback to their first fight from the original series where Baki was utterly defeated. The decisive moment was Baki trying to land a front flip axe kick, Yujiro countered it by moving with it and puling his ownover Baki's, knocking him out. This time Baki was able to block the counter that had put him down before and the fight didn't end where it had last time, making his dad proud.
