Love it! Since her origins have changed and is no longer a gem, didn't you say she was some sort of technorganic cyborg? How does her stomach work? How effective is it at digesting live food? And is -anything- small enough to go down the hatch considered food, even sentient prey?

Yup! Basically a human body (made from alien organic material) with many layers of mechanical bits throughout her muscle and bone! All powered by what she eats and somewhat from solar power, so her stomach works normally, but is strong enough to corrode metals. She has no connection to earth life, so pretty much anything she can get down is considered food, since she would need a lot of it to power herself! Bone/scales/shells/etc would be no problem for her belly, so she doesn't even have to worry too much about what she puts in it, and prey sentience probably wouldn't even be considered if she felt she needed the food. Unless a friend asked her not to eat something, there wouldn't be too much a prey could do or say to change her mind

That's some pretty strong stomach acid! I take it the typical micro wouldn't last longer than a few minutes. Is digestion immediate & automatic, or is she able to control how quickly it starts?

It's all automatic like usual, the only thing she could probably do is squeeze her stomach with her ab muscles to cough up something, and hmmm, a micro wouldn't stand much chance against it. If they were small they'd probably be mostly bone and clothing in a few hours!
