Digestion and absorption is fascinating to me, even though in nom things I like when it's only implied by belly noises or a full belly going back to it's original shape, and things like that. Still though, thinking about the whole process is fun, and just as fun to simplify it and apply it to some drawings, like this one!

Very informative, but wrong. I don't know where you did your research, but based on most of the vore I've seen, the food goes into the stomach and has a harmless nap for as long as he likes, then is thrown up and spends time with the receiver playing video games with a tiny controller.

Kei_Booty

Very good, but you forget prey isn't even thrown up, 'cause that's gross, and is instead just shown outside a little while later playing video games

Informative!

The lessons Iolite would have learned if she weren't so easily distracted by food! But it does make me wonder where exactly her empathy kicks in. I'd assume her programming is involved, humans being the target for integration, so is literally everything else categorized as a potential food source? Or is it more nuanced than that?

Kei_Booty

Humans are definitely the target for her, meaning a lot of her early personality is meant to make her seem appealing or nonthreatening to humans. Being aggressive to animals would probably not look good if they were trying to find someone to take care of them, so she wouldn't want to harm anything unnecessarily, but at the same time humans are the only thing they care about, and animals other than that are inferior in their minds, and with quelling hunger being a very high priority for her type, smaller animals wouldn't be given much thought when it comes to eating them. As long as her caretakers weren't put off by it, her kind would eat anything they could get their hands on, but if their caretakers told them not to, they would have to obey and would be gentle with smaller animals, unless they thought they would starve otherwise. Like Kris could give her her hamster now and not worry at all about it getting hurt, and Iolite would make sure it was safe since it was important to Kris.

Hmm, do you think iolite would treat animals differently if she knew how grizzly the digestion process was? She doesn't seem to think that they even existed after she ate them in the comic with the chick. Or would that knowledge make her crave animals more...

Kei_Booty

Nope! She's aware of the concept of death, because her number one priority is avoiding it, and knows that things that go in don't come back out alive. So knowing what actually happens would just be another thing for her to learn, and she would be indifferent to it when thinkin about an animal going through it. Though she wouldn't want to hurt something unnecessarily, and would only eat a small animal if she was hungry enough and there weren't easily obtainable normal foods around already! Like she would ignore a mouse if it was out of reach and there was other food right in front of her, since chasing and catching it uses up energy!
