Hello Supporters!
I have some exciting news to share with y'all: from October, I'll start producing videos for the official Daz YouTube channel! The team at Daz enjoy what I do so much that we've expanded our partnership into making more content.
Thankfully I'm not doing this all by myself, I have help from two lovely trusted team members namely Julia and Ray. Julia helps out with thumbnails, management, scheduling and descriptions, while Ray helps out with editing and graphics. I oversee the whole project, keep explaining how stuff works and fill in the gaps.
Together we'll also tackle comments, answer questions and get ideas for new content we'll produce. It'll be a ton of work, but I'm really looking forward to this. We've all known each other for two decades and have a ton of TV experience between us. I'll put out a quick announcement on both channels next week to let the viewers know, and I'll share regular updates on how the project goes.
Initially it'll be for 6 months, at which point we'll see how it works for all parties involved. I don't anticipate there being any fundamental changes to what and how much I upload to my own channel. I have so many creative ideas, and this new team structure will just help establish a more efficient workflow across all production aspects that I hope we can expand to The WP Guru channel as well.
Up until now I've done most things by myself, which is both enjoyable and tiring, but it's not as efficient as I'd like it to be. Working as a team, we'll be able to create more content faster and pay the rent at the same time. As you can imagine this is a huge opportunity to reach a wider audience, bring more happiness to the world, but it's also a little scary because it's a new way of working and none of us want to disappoint or screw this up.
