All had been going well, until she felt a slight disturbance in the force, causing her to be on alert. Seeing no one behind or around, she boiled it down to simply nerves. As she raised her hand to begin subduing the dark artifact, a powerful wave flooded over her as her painful memories resurfaced. Losing her master to the dark side. The fall of the order. The collapse of the Republic, and the rise of the Empire. With great concentration, she subdued the holocron's influence, silencing the dark thoughts, exhausting her greatly. As she stopped to catch her breath, she felt the earlier disturbance once more, for only a moment. It was familiar. It was someone she had once known. Someone she once cared for dearly. She felt Anakin once more. Then before she could react, the next thing she felt was the scorching blade of a lightsaber piercing through her back and out through her chest, it's crimson glow radiating in front of her. Her vision blurred as the blade quickly stole her life. Her last thoughts as her eyes rolled back into her head and her body fell limply to the floor, was the horrible realization of the identity of the dark lord who had so mercilessly killed her. The master had reunited with his Padawan. And now there would be nothing stopping him from teaching her a final lesson. Overall I'm pretty happy with this piece, and I hope you will all enjoy it as well.
