Hey guys!

Ok so lets start with the good news.  The bike put down 190hp in 5th gear!!!  Thats 7hp more than it did stock which was 183hp in 5th gear.  It also picked up 25hp in the mid range of 4th gear and 16hp in the mid range of 5th gear which was awesome.

So the exhaust and flash added hp and fixed the flat spots in the gears which is exactly what I was hoping for.

Now for the odd part...in 4th gear the bike made 179hp stock and 166hp after the exhaust and flash.  At first we though the bike might be spinning on the dyno but after strapping it down we realized it was not.  We noticed the throttle is being closed by the ECU at the top of the rev range which is where it lost the hp.

We don't know why that would be happening.  Originally John thought it might have to do with approaching federal speed limit restrictions but as this is not a street legal exhaust I don't think that would make sense.

It might have something to do with sound regulations at tracks?  Maybe they do sound regulations in 4th gear?  I don't know.  Let me know if you guys have any ideas.

Also, Rory won't be back till next week so I won't have another video out for you guys until he returns.  Thanks and enjoy the video!

The comments up top are quite sound. Go Bren on this build! You won't be sorry.

You could just look at it as a hp/lbs improvement, ignoring the 4th gear flat spot. It would look good with the massive weight drop from the stock exhaust system.
