What you said before this is me trying made me sob. I’m at a really good place rn, but I’ve been there. And what you said there really would’ve made a difference at that time for me. This is me trying did that as well, it came out in a point of my life that I really needed it. I don’t think people like Taylor, but also you understand the power of what you just said. But know it is appreciated and helps (and sometimes even saves) people. ❤️

You heard the bridge of Illicit Affairs on the Eras Tour video. I personally love the version on the original Album more than this version, and I live the electric guitars that were on the tour version the most of any version ever! I love Illicit Affairs so much, surprising as the name is. I've been the girl that never got chosen, the second choice or backup plan and those feelings sound similar to the way they might if you were "the other woman". The song taps into that heartbreaking desperation ! I wish she sang the whole song and not just the bridge on the tour.
