As we reach the season finale (possibly even the series finale), reflecting on the journey of this season feels significant. Welcoming back Rick and Michonne feels like a reunion with old friends. Kudos to the cast and crew for weaving such an engaging story.

In this finale, our emotions are a mix. While there were some critiques about certain moments in the episode, overall, it delivered both intense action and heartfelt emotion. Looking ahead, the unfolding developments will undoubtedly pique our interest. Yet, in this moment, we will simply express gratitude to Andy and Danai for reprising their roles and bringing back these beloved characters for the fans.

Overall, I love the series and I'm very satisfied. The finale wasn't without its flaws. I absolutely agree him leaving the hand behind as a symbol was dumb and i can't see Rick doing that when it was a useful weapon to help him get out alive. It did all feel a bit easy, but then that base only had the concentrated number of the top force who all would never think any of them were against them. Carelessness through arrogance maybe. I'd have liked a bit more dialogue for Thorn's final realisation that maybe she was wrong, fuelled by her realising love could still exist. Her last turn felt a bit hollow. Personally, I also thought some of the flashback montages were unnecessary, like just before Rick had to swear on the sword, we didn't need a montage of all the deaths with swords etc. That all being said, I loved Rick and Beale, loved Rick and Michonne in this one, both apart and together and that ending is probably my favourite ending to any show I've watched. I think that scene will make me cry every time. It has been so earned by fans. As for more, although this is clearly the end for this show, I could definitely see at least Andy popping up for a cameo in Daryl Dixon one day. I think Andy loves honouring the fans and he loves Norman so I think we'll get that moment one day.

Oak going off on the hand literally made my day. I was laughing so much and the symbolism bs felt straight from Fear. But I agree great episode, but this better not be the END for these two plz. Great stuff guys
