While most of the work the boys in the office do - boys like Tom and Jasper - involves transcribing data from old formats into much more robust, long-lasting chemical data and storing it to keep it safe, a large portion of their duties involves producing new Pocket Class robots for the station's clients. It's an easy job that they can do while working on other things, after all - at least until the time comes to export the new robot, at which point it can become quite challenging. 👀
