It would be a good ending but season 5 is the best. Packed full of insanely good episodes including the final episode. Are you going to do better call saul after breaking bad or are you going to poll which show to do after (if so I hope you'll include better call saul).

To answer, “why would Walt know Gus’s people would be watching for Hector, do they randomly sit outside the DEA all day?” - no, only because Hank came was Tyrus watching. That’s why they said “he (hector) will only talk to you (Hank)”. Gus’s people were watching Hank obviously because they are trying to kill Hank at this point
