just wanted to clarify the mahoroga summon. in order for Megumi to use a shikigami as his own, he must first summon and defeat the shikigami on his own. what he did here was start the ritual to try and beat the shikigami but obviously used it for the intention of taking out himself and his opponent at the same time. he also said that no one has been able to tame mahoraga in the past, leaving us to assume that when the gojo clan and zenin clan fought the zenin leader used it the same way Megumi is. a last-ditch suicide bomb

It’s not that sukuna is literally the strongest character in anime in terms of quantified power, but I think he’s one of the strongest villains in the sense of how strong he is compared to literally basically everyone else in the verse. This was one of the craziest displays of power in all of anime. Not because it’s the highest amount of power, but because of how crazy it is in comparison to anything else in the show.
