On January 2nd I booked a flight for Reed to fly out to Los Angeles and visit for an entire week. With the flight only two weeks away we had a lot of planning to do in such little time. With the master of planning at my disposal, we pulled it off pretty damn well. We only had one "lazy" day while she was here, the rest were packed with fun and shooting.

Reed was able to find this amazing AirBnB in the final minutes of planning her trip and what a find it was. In the heart of the Fashion District in Downtown Los Angeles with south facing windows for perfect light at any time of the day. The loft was open, spacious and had a great atmosphere. The downstairs is where most of the shooting occurred due to the perfect lighting, amazing wood floors, a railless wooden staircase and a glossy gold table.

However, the upstairs was not boring in the least. The owner had several taxidermy pieces, old books a coffee table made of a tree trunk and a hammock chair (which was Reed's favorite.) My favorite part about the upstairs was the dozens of old film cameras he has ranging from old Olympia's to a Mamiya RZ67. Do not worry, we utilized the upstairs space too, I was just to distracted by how well the photos were coming out to remember to take some with my phone.

Reed and I shot about ten different outfits ranging from a black garter set to a handmade set by Julie K no outfit at all. With over 250 photos flagged to finalize and edit it is going to take me some time to get through them all, but patients is a virtue.

Attached are the behind the scenes photos from our weekend shooting in this beautiful loft. I also put in my Snapchat story as well as Reed's snapchat story. To follow me on snapchat simply search for "alpalshmal." For Reed's snapchat you are going to have to swing by her Connectpal and buy a subscription.

Sneak Peak:

Most of the photos will not be released to the general public. Most will only appear on my Patreon or Reed's Connectpal. We are also working on our next book release, which will contain photos from these days of shooting; maybe even exclusive to just the book!

I  am also multi tasking and working on a Behind The Scenes video currently. Sadly, video work takes quite a long time for me. 1 minute and 30 seconds worth of content took me 4 hours to complete, but it will be released as soon as I am done with it.

With that said, a lot of content coming your way, just be patient and you will be pleasantly surprised!
