When you are done watching the Child’s Play/ Chucky franchise. You should watch the Child’s Play reboot (2019). Very fun and they don’t try to do copy the original. They do their own thing with it that is still a very fun. Also, great cast too. Aubrey Plaza as the new Karen, Brian Tyree Henry as Detective Mike Norris, Mark Hammil as the voice of Chucky, and introduced Gabriel Bateman as Andy.

Also, you asked why Andy was taking it in when Chucky was doing his chant. He was not taking it in. He was knocked out by Chucky. Chucky hit him in the back of his head with the handle of the knife. They tried to but in a sound effect in there to make it believable of a big thud, but hard to make that believable and I’m sure a lot of people missed that when they watched it to. If it was not for the sound effect and seeing Chucky’s arm just move a little bit I would have missed it too.
