So this is something I want to start doing. When I first started my own blog (that was way too long ago) I tried to post works in progress once a week. With Instagrams feed being easily cluttered though I stopped doing that. One of the downsides of trying to keep it aesthetically pleasing I guess.
This week I am working on a bit of Critical Role fanart. Hope I can finish this one before the next con so I can get prints done. I tried to be a bit more dynamic with this one, it is something I struggle with in illustrations.
I've also done a lot of boring stuff, re-ordering and planning and things like that.
And I've worked on this tattoo commission. This is kind of a preliminary sketch, the original will be an ink and watercolor piece that I'll hopefully get done by Sunday. It is the third in a set of four. I am kind of excited at the thought of somebody having their whole arm full with my critters.

I hope your week is progressing well!

Do you take references for the poses or do you draw them out of your imagination? :)

I tend to do a lot of stupid selfies for certain poses but this one was out of my imagination. I find it harder to draw things like a hand softly touching a cheek or somebody strangling somebody else so I do some pictures of myself making these poses. My camera roll looks ridiculous sometimes XD

Haha 😃 I can imagine that. I sometimes take pictures from different poses too but often feel silly about it 😂🙈

Because in contrast to normal selfies, these reference pics look horrible, haha. One is wearing their pajama, hair might look weird, chaos in the background XD
