Sunmakers concept art - Chummon and Evergreen (Patreon)

A preview of two plant based sapient species for Sunmakers. These creatures are a mix of flora and fauna. Or as I later dubbed them; Flaura.

The chummon, together with the Mau, are the oldest species in terms of when I first came up with them. I wanted an intelligent, squid/octopus based race that would use machines to protect their frail bodies. Their design did not change much over the years. But they will likely get a final make over before they appear in the story.

The evergreen concepts shown above are very outdated and their current design looks almost nothing alike. However, I still wanted to show where the idea for them started. Obvious wendigo inspirations for this species.
