Hua Cheng became the guinea pig for some watercolor and watercolor pencil work in my sketchbook.

Worked on him on stream, and it was a fun time to cut loose with some personal work. Watercolor isn't a medium I'm completely comfortable with, and I don't get the chance to use it often. And I have never worked with watercolor pencil before. So it was nice to really dig my hand in with this one. I learned a few things, and fought with my sketchbook's paper, but I think he turned out alright in the end!

I really want to do a full illustration with him and Xie Lian one day. I've only done a few doodles here and there. Heaven Official's Blessing is such a wonderful love story, and I wanna give it more attention.
