August update (Patreon)

Hello everybody.... Its August.... *starts fully weeping for 10 minutes and slowly recovers* Im fine. Anyway,

Next few days, we're wrapping up the Barber Westchester festival edit. I had my friend Rani Sharone go through and do another pass at sound design, add footsteps and blink sounds, clean up messy audio, and generally mixed the audio. Dylan's doing a small edit to the mayor song so that we can actually understand what the clay guys who talk near the beginning are saying. I've edited some scenes, added tiny things, cut out tiny things, basically just tried to get it a little cleaner. I'm probably going to go through and fix small visual problems as well. Going to export it at a better quality too. Some of you may like the older version more, so don't worry cuz that'll still be up on Youtube. But yeah for screening purposes I wanted to get this version done. It will be up for you guys as soon as it's uploaded.

Speaking of festivals- Next one coming up is gonna be at the Brooklyn Academy of Music on Saturday August 13 for Animation Block Party. I'll be there! Tickets are here if you wanna come: https://www.bam.org/film/2022/malt-adult-presents-barber-westchester

In September, Barber Westchester is screening at Ottawa International Animation Festival. They're also having a retrospective screening for my work (Earth is Flat, Rachel and her Grandfather, Stilton's in Charge, Goodbye Forever Party, The Final Exit of the Disciples of Ascensia), and I'm on the shorts jury. SALIATOS2 is still going pretty well. I'll have an update for you guys on that soon. I'm still chugging along and making progress. I wanna try and get episode 1 on here this month. Will update again about this asap.

Some cool news- Currently have a project in development with Look Mom Productions. I'll have more info about that at some point I think. But pretty excited about it. 

Lots of other stuff I can't talk about yet is happening in general and I'm really excited. It's a bit overwhelming but I'm having fun.
