If you're getting this message, you once pledged to the Reclaim Reality Patreon; this is a post-mortem writeup for the game, as it's been completely cancelled.

I wrote multiple Patreon posts about it, but in case you're no longer pledged, I wanted to send this out to you to give you the opportunity to ask for a refund and to of course know why the game was cancelled.

Thanks for the support and sticking with us throughout this game's development; we do hope to apply the lessons we learned in this game towards making our future games much, much better.

So it looks like I'm going to have to wait until pledges actually come in for the next month; we literally only have $70 in the Patreon account, so there's no way to refund you until stuff comes in through next month.

Once that does, then I'll refund you, for sure.

The download link will be available until the end of January 10th, so make sure you get it while it's still there! This free release was okay'd by our current $10 patrons, who all voted unanimously to allow us to release it for free as a way to thank you, the community, for your endless support and kindness throughout the difficult year that was 2020. There's not too much I can do to show my appreciation, but you guys kept me sane and helped me keep creating during an extremely difficult time, so hopefully this will act as some small token of my appreciation! Hello to all of our loyal supporters. Unfortunately we've got some bad news. We've been suspended from Patreon for violating community guidelines. Patreon has sent us a message but it's very generic and nothing specific has been pointed out. At this point I don't know whether this will be easy to fix or not, but it will likely require some changed or purged content either way.

1. the 5,000 work bank reward stacks per successful payment processed by Patreon. So if you do it for 2 months, for example, you get 10,000 words. Even if you drop being a Patron and have had successful payments processed, you will always have access to those words and are able to commission me based on how many you accrued.

2. One unfortunate thing that slipped past me concerned Madoka. I'm extremely against writing Lolicon content and I do not find myself budging on it in any way. I don't expect that you were aware of this, and for that, I apologize because it creates a negative reaction you didn't anticipate. However, the one loophole I give people concerning characters ages (roughly) 15 and younger is "aging" them up to place them at a widely accepted age that I myself approve. For example, I did that with Ruby Rose from RWBY and aged her up 3 years and actually used such a time period in the story to use it to my advantage.

3. I think you developed your idea beautifully and I think you should be commended for that because that kind of effort among commissioners is really appreciated and I really like that you had a lot of detail here <3

4. I personally value protecting the core foundation of commissions given to me and I don't like changing it up too much unless such changes advance the appeal of the story for both parties. Because of the fact that you really value certain elements here that I myself are not so enthused about, it might be better to take this to someone else who might be more...fully receptive to every aspect of the idea :)
