I'm hoping Catherine talks more about her mother. IMO it sounds like Catherine's mother had issues with bondage; she did not want it to become known, i.e. she wanted secrecy. I'm hoping it did not affect their relationship but I'm getting the feeling it did. I bet Emma knows the story of what happened to Catherine and her mother. This may be why she pushes for BDSM to be normalized and not taboo. Has Emma drawn a parallel between Catherine's mother and Patricia due to the secrecy? Probably. Personally, i don't see an issue on either side. Some will want secrecy, like Gabby, and some want it to be totally out in the open, like Emma. The problem is when a couple, dom/sub, collide on the subject. I will also bet Patricia and Emma have had multiple discussions, and probably heated ones, on the subject.

Also, did Catherine start the Bondage Society? I don't remember. The Society is designed to protect both subs and doms. Did she become the president because of her mother??? Did she see the need to have an organization to monitor and protect its members? Very interesting idea. So, has anyone heard of such an organization?
