I hate how on the one hand they treat us like a pariah and on the other try to convince us to maintain unity and feel pride in China. I've eaten more racism and abuse from mainlanders on Twitter during any given week than in my eighteen years in America. They rejected me, not the other way around. I also shouldn't have to fear an invasion from the CCP every time I visit my family in Taiwan. Taiwan has done nothing to them. It just wants peace. It suffers so many indignities just to preserve the peace. I apologize if that was aggressive or rude. It's just upsetting for many reasons.
