---2/2---

Thor spoke up, "Father, grant me a contingent of troops. I will surely pacify Jotunheim."

After the provocation in Jotunheim during the previous incident, Thor knew that relying solely on himself wouldn't be enough to overpower the entire realm.

There were too many of them. Even though the Frost Giant King was no longer there, the Mountain Giant King posed a significant threat.

Odin cast a low glance at his son standing below.

Although there were still many dissatisfactions, it was not like before when Thor would go looking for trouble with the Frost Giants by just bringing a few Asgardian warriors. He had matured somewhat, which pleased Odin.

"The Rainbow Bridge is currently shattered, and I cannot send troops directly to Jotunheim."

"Now, you have two options. One is for me to use dark matter to send both of you to Jotunheim to investigate the situation, while simultaneously dispatching a troop led by the Three Warriors of Asgard and Sif aboard a cosmic ship to support you."

"The other option is to ride the cosmic ship along with the troops and head to Jotunheim to quell the rebellion."

After Odin finished explaining, Thor did not immediately respond. Instead, he looked towards Charles Doyle.

"Charles, what do you think we should do? Should we depart with the main force or go ahead first?"

Odin, observing from above, also turned his gaze toward Charles, curious about the decision the Supreme Merlin would make.

As everyone's eyes were on him, Charles felt a bit intrigued. It seemed that, except for Loki, no one else knew about the passage leading to Jotunheim.

Otherwise, there would be no need for a cosmic ship; they could have just used the portal to send a large army.

Thinking about what the Ancient One had told him, using the title of Supreme Merlin to deter powerful beings in the universe and avoid unnecessary trouble, he considered his current options.

Charles spoke, "Thor and I will go ahead to check the situation in Jotunheim. With our combined strength, we should be able to handle things until the main force arrives."

Hearing his choice, Thor excitedly patted Charles on the shoulder. Although he wasn’t the one who directly made the choice, Thor favored this option. With Mjolnir in hand, Thor wasn't worried about being surrounded.

"Good, I'll follow your lead!"

"We'll head out first, and then let Sif bring the troops to support us," Thor added.

Odin observed the situation with some amusement. Thor's enthusiasm didn't surprise him, but he also noticed something unexpected.

The growth rate of the Supreme Merlin was astonishing. In just a month, Charles's energy had increased significantly, almost doubling. Odin was somewhat astonished by this development.

At this moment, Odin observed that Charles seemed to be much more powerful, as if he had undergone a significant transformation.

In contrast, Thor still hadn't awakened his Thunder god bloodline. Even now, he relied on his hammer to generate lightning. This made Odin somewhat frustrated, thinking about how much more powerful Thor could be.

Charles's strength, compared to Hela, was like night and day. Odin wondered how they could change the fate of Ragnarok in the future.

However, Charles's enhanced power growth reassured Odin about sending them to the forefront.

"Since that's the case, the two of you will go to Jotunheim first."

As Odin was about to use dark cosmic energy to teleport them, Charles pulled out a pre-written mission scroll from his storage space.

"King Odin, please confirm the mission commission."

Seeing Charles's actions, Odin was momentarily surprised. Did he need to confirm a promised task?

However, this surprise was short-lived. Odin chuckled, then waved his hand, and the mission scroll flew directly to him.

After taking a look and ensuring there were no magical fluctuations or hidden contract traps, Odin signed his divine name, Odin Borson, and sent the mission scroll back to Charles.

Looking at the scroll in his hand, Charles smiled. As he stored it in his storage space, he directly submitted it to the mission guild.

Ding! After the mission guild's assessment, an S-Rank mission has been accepted!

Hearing the S-Rank mission announcement, Charles felt even more delighted – a two-in-one deal. Not only did he receive Odin's reward, but he also qualified for an S-Rank mission reward from the guild.

Odin, seeing Charles put away the mission scroll, spoke again, "Is there anything else? If not, I'll send you both over."

Charles smiled, "Thank you, King Odin."

Thor, swinging his hammer, added, "Father, I'm ready at any time."

Seeing both of them ready, Odin nodded. He then used dark cosmic energy to teleport them directly to Jotunheim.

After teleporting them, Frigga, Odin's wife, walked out from the back.

"Will it be safe for Thor to go there directly? The strength of the Mountain Giant King..."

Concerned, Frigga looked at her husband. Odin smiled and replied, "Don't worry. I'll have Heimdall keep an eye on them."

"Moreover, Thor's true potential hasn't been fully unlocked. Perhaps this rebellion will not only increase his reputation in your Nine Realms but also awaken his power."

"Holding the power of the Thunder god but relying on Mjolnir to unleash the thunder's might is unacceptable."

Hearing Odin's assurance, Frigga nodded, feeling reassured. She then remembered something and asked, "Heimdall truly can't see Loki's whereabouts?"

Hearing his wife's question, Odin sighed. As his adopted son for fifteen centuries, it was impossible to say there was no affection. He didn't expect Loki to choose such a path – to abandon himself and fall into the void of the universe.
