Kaori was desperate for help: P.E exams were coming soon, and among them was the Climbing exam. Many of her classmates had other plans, so no choice. She goes asking Sachiko to train her since she was one of the strongest people Kaori knew. And to her surprise, Sachiko accepted.

After arriving at Sachiko's place, Kaori explained to Sachiko how it would be better if she did this shrunk, as tinies were more endurant and resistant than regular sized people.
