Forest Ritual Site [40x30 / 20x15] (Patreon)

After investigating the disappearances in the village and examining the findings in the forest close to the village, the investigators find out about an old ritual site deeper into the woods. Just before they arrive at the site, they hear loud creaking sounds and a terrible scream. When they get to the ritual site, the investigators witness something that is hard to comprehend or explain. A towering mass of tentacle-like appendages flailing around stands on the edge of light in the shadows. You can only tell its revolting shape from the unnatural floating lights dancing around it and glistening from its blood-covered hide against the full moon. The sacrifice has been accepted and the ritual is almost complete...
