Also, if you want to see some more Charlton Heston films. Highly recommend The Ten Commandments, Ben-Hur, and The Greatest Show on Earth. The Ten Commandments (1956) is the 3 hour and 40 minute epic film on the story of Moses. Charlton plays Moses. Ben-Hur (1959) is another epic film at 3 hours and 32 minutes. This is also the film the Charlton Won Best Actor for. It also has one of the best action scenes in film history with a chariot race that lasts 15 minutes that is absolutely thrilling from start to finish. The Greatest Show on Earth (1952) is basically showing the life of circus performers that travel from town to town. It won best picture and more of an ensemble film.

I was born in '71 and my sis in '75. We never watched any of these movies in the theater, BUT back in the day when there was only basic cable and HBO, TBS would run a Planet of the Apes marathon once a year, and we would watch it in its entirety every single year. We still let each other know when'where the movie series is available to this day. Thanks for doing these reactions!
