*HOLY CHAINED HEADPHONE WARNINGS*

This arc with Jill and Rosine has been SUCH a trip and a way to tie up a former thread from the "Golden Age" arc! I was actually surprised and elated by the conclusion of this arc, especially with Jill and the journey she goes through!

Sadly, things are not as uplifting for Guts, who's being tracked down by the Holy Chain Knights and Guts is NOT here for a religious intervention! The struggle continues!

I think you have a good read on our new characters! A few times my eyebrows lifted in surprise at your take! Hahahaha! I absolutely love the Lost Children chapters. It is Jill’s story and in it, Mr Swordsman is just a side character! Yes, she is a fellow struggler and she is dealing with her own trauma in her own way. Miura did a solid for this character for sure! Rosine is one Apostle that I have lots and lots of empathy for. Her death is very sad. I hope she is at peace in the hell vortex. RIP Rosine. Skull Knight! Eats Behelit as a light snack… mystery deepens…… The B.O.D. The dark pupper! I love that equation that Puck does in his head: Guts is greater than spirits Spirits is greater than Puck Puck beats spirits and is equal to or greater than Guts. Therefore, Puck is Greater than Guts! Serpico is beautiful as you have observed! His armor is the depiction of a fox. He also did something that was a bit sneaky and that’s all I’ll say because others will explain it. So the Holy See is a real thing ( from the Vatican) and they have a miracle commission that investigate reported miracles to see if they are real. I guess that’s how they would confirm that a priest or nun was indeed a saint based on the miracles that were attributed to them. I googled it, and, well, there is a lot of information about the Vatican. It was a power that dipped its toes in all aspects of medieval life. Miracle recognition is still a thing today apparently too. I find all of this very interesting. Oh Farnese! When she was wailing on Guts with those cat-o’-nine-tails, she was getting hot and bothered. Then Azan bursts in startling her, almost caught her in the act of assaulting Guts further…. 😬 Enjoyed the reading today! Now that we are finished with Lost Children, I can say that it is one of my favorite if not my favorite chapters. Lost Children just does a stellar job of storytelling. Some people don’t like this arc. Some people view Lost Children as filler. I view it as essential to the story. In recent years it has gained a lot more respect. Can’t wait till next volume! How will Guts get out of this sticky situation! Who knows! 👁️👁️👁️👁️FEB Spoilers⬇️👁️👁️👁️👁️ 50 Shades of Farnese Volume 16: 5 !

The facial expressions in this volume conveyed the characters emotions so well. I remember the duck face days in the early volumes xd

Oh, thank you! I’m really excited by the new characters to arrive! The conclusion to Jill’s story was SO GOOD! I love that she gets to rise about her trauma and move forward! YES, it’s so refreshing to see a character get a “happy” ending by Berserk standards – I definitely was NOT expecting it! Though, with Rosine… “at peace in the hell vortex” is…quite a phrase! RIP. Skull Knight is a beacon of levity in this dark world – he and Mr. Waffles have me on the edge of my seat every time he shows up! Puck’s equation is so adorable! I love him! Serpico with the fox armor seems fitting – and “sneaky” is a good word for him. I like that it’s different from a ‘snake’ in some regards! OOOHHHH, interesting! I’m glad you pointed out the Holy See being a “thing” – I will definitely have to bring that up with Volume 18 (as I’ve already recorded 17 as I type this). Ahhh, I didn’t realize she was getting “hot and bothered” by that. Hm. *notes* I will say that I LOVE the Lost Children arc – I can see how people would consider it “filler” with the bug battles (I’m not much of a bug person, so the battles were “okay” for me) but the themes at the end is just SO GOOD and the writing is top notch – I was impressed Miura surprised me with an ending I didn’t see coming! Thank you for the comment and kind words! It definitely FEELS essential! As for next week…hoo boy. *nervous chuckle* See you then!
