Again congratulations to your team for the competition! I hope you managed some sleep, and the long travel time hasn't left you feeling cruddy. Think you can forgive Liu Qingge stealing a couple of your lines and the spotlight for saving your life, Shen Qingqiu 🤣 He's such a drama queen about it though, and we love him for it. The System arbitrarily adding new kinds of points that Shen Qingqiu can earn definitely gives it a bit of a game feel, with certain things being unlocked once you pass a particular level or story point. It also provides more humorous moments of Shen Qingqiu throwing shade at the System. Luo Binghe cooking for Shen Qingqiu is so sweet. But this moment I couldn't help but think about how our first introduction to the main characters cooking in both Tian Guan Ci Fu and Mo Dao Zu Shi is that the meals they make are inedible 😂 Because of Wei Wuxian's penchant for spice and Xie Lian's penchant for complete failure in their cooking attempts, I was concerned for Shen Qingqiu when he was first all excited about tasting Luo Binghe's cooking. Thankfully didn't have to worry about Shen Qingqiu's health deteriorating, just worry over Luo Binghe falling even harder for his Shizun 😆 I love Liu Qingge's character. His mannerisms and appearance are all so intense. But his poking at the change within Shen Qingqiu's demeanour show that, alongside have a very large sword (🤭), he has a good working brain and isn't afraid to call things out. He also cut through the circle of blame that Yue Qingyuan and Mu Qingfang were continuously feeling pained over. In this episode Shen Qingqiu gets story lines originally for the members of Luo Binghe's harem twice: Luo Binghe cooks for him, and then Shen Qingqiu enters the Dreamland instead of Ning Yingying. And *still* Shen Qingqiu remains oblivious 🤣 The donghua though did a great job on making Luo Binghe's dream creepy and eerie with how silent it is, but also the way they animated the faceless people. Just when you thought last week's cliffhanger was bad 🤣 I agree that Luo Binghe's puppy energy is very similar to Quan Yizhen's. I feel the cultivation clan relationship also helps with that comparison (though Yin Yu was just Quan Yizhen's Shixiong/older martial brother, and Shen Qingqiu has the role of Luo Binghe's Shizun/martial teacher). I did giggle at you thinking of Austin Powers for the story line name Goldfinger, so American of you 😂 Meanwhile the Brit in me immediately thought of James Bond (specifically my favourite Bond, Sean Connery) and Shirley Bassey singing Goldfinger 😂 I feel proud of you for immediately thinking of the incense burner chapters in Mo Dao Zu Shi at the setting of Luo Binghe and Shen Qingqiu being in a dream together 🤣 Instead of horny though, Mo Xiang Tong Xiu takes the horror route with it. Ahhh, thank you! Luckily, I didn’t feel too bad from travel, so that was good - but I was definitely proud of my team! Shen is SUCH a drama queen, but I love him! And yeah, I think Liu can be forgiven, too! 😛And the system just “adding” new elements would DEFINITELY ruffle Shen’s feathers, but I love it, too! I love that MXTX adds a “cooking” element into her series – though this seems like the GOOD version vs. WWX and XL’s! It’s good to know MXTX gave us ONE instance of it working! 😛And yesssss, Luo SO fell harder in this moment! Luo definitely has QYZ energy, but with a more HC vibe mixed in, which is DANGEROUS in my book! I missed that SQQ was getting a cooking story line meant for other harem members, but you’re so right…and yeah…STILL OBLIVIOUS! Liu is SO mysterious and INTENSE and I really like him as well – and A VERY LARGE SWORD OMG – I cannot! MXTX GUTTER MIND ACTIVATE! He’s really smart, which has me worried for the “game” SQQ is playing, but I’m excited to see what he manages to do in this series! And yes, the cliffhanger is HARSH this series! BAHAHAHA – of COURSE, I had to think of the American parody to the James Bond film. Go figure. XD It’s the humor of this series that made me look to that…or that’s what I’m telling myself, anyway. 😛And MXTX playing with horror instead of horny for this first dream route…we’ll see what you do, MXTX, we’ll see!
